TitleVitals™ Privacy Policy

Effective June 2026. © 2026 TitleVitals™.

What we collect

Your account email, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), plan and billing status (card details live with our payment processor, not with us), your settings, and API keys or tokens that TitleVitals generates for your account. The book data you choose to track: catalog entries, ASINs, formats, languages, covers, public rankings, ratings and reviews, author-page coverage, and — if you connect the extension — your sales, KENP, and royalty figures. Editorial text you create or submit, AI outputs you choose to generate, publish and status logs, extension and device metadata needed for sync, diagnostic reports you choose to share, and promo cards or share links you choose to create, frozen as you composed them.

What we never collect

Your Amazon password. The browser extension reads report pages inside your own browser and transmits only parsed numbers and text. The extension is limited to the Amazon, ACX, Audible, and TitleVitals domains needed to provide the service and does not read unrelated websites. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies on the dashboard.

Where data lives

Data is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify, with database infrastructure on Neon) in the United States. Backups are retained on the provider's standard schedule.

Translation and AI features

TitleVitals offers optional translation and AI-assisted features for editorial text and analysis you specifically request. When you invoke them, the specific material you submit is sent to our AI model provider (Anthropic's Claude) only to perform that request, under the provider's applicable service terms and data-processing settings, and only at your request. A free Google Translate route is also offered; using it opens Google's service under Google's own terms. Translation and AI processing are never used unless you invoke them.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only parties that may process your data are the providers that operate the service on our behalf — hosting and database infrastructure, our payment processor for subscriptions, our email provider for account messages, our AI model provider when you use translation or AI-assisted features, and the automation and support tools we use to monitor, debug, secure, and maintain the service — and only to provide the service. We disclose data only when required by law (for example, a valid legal request). Public share cards display only the content their author selected. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be used to improve the service.

Email

We use your account email to operate your account. We will only send you product update notices or marketing email if you opt in to those, and each is a separate choice you can change or turn off at any time. We never share or sell your email address to third parties for their marketing.

Support and admin access

Authorized TitleVitals support and admin personnel may access account data when needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or support the service. Admin access is logged and limited to service operation and support purposes.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account data, including per-account scoping, access controls, encrypted transport, and provider-managed database security. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You can download a copy of your account data at any time from Settings → Account (“Download my data”), in addition to the built-in report exports. You can delete your account and its data yourself from Settings → Account (“Delete my account”). Deletion is scheduled, not instant: it stops any active subscription from renewing and removes your account and data after a 14-day cooling-off period (or when your paid term ends, whichever is later), and you can cancel the deletion any time before then. Full removal, including backups that expire on their schedule, completes within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, security, or audit purposes. You may also contact support for help with access, correction, or deletion.

Governing law and controlling language

TitleVitals is operated from the United States. This policy, and any dispute arising out of or relating to it, is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules — the same governing law and venue that apply under our Terms of Service. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of any mandatory data-protection or consumer rules of your place of residence that cannot be set aside by agreement.

This policy is written in English, and the English version is the binding one. We publish translations in other languages for convenience only. If there is any conflict, ambiguity, or difference in meaning between the English version and a translation, the English version governs.
